Nandina Product Information:
Nandina best grows in zones 6 through 9 and is coveted for its lack of maintenance needs. Nandina is known for living in spite of lack of care, even thriving on abandoned properties! Also known as “heavenly bamboo,” nandina is deer resistant and best used as a screening shrub or container gardening.
Nana – Also known as “Dwarf Sacred Bamboo,” this variety of nandina grows to be between 1.5 and 2 feet tall and wide. The Nana nandina also varies in color on each plant from green to bright red.
Obsession – This variety of Nandina gets between 3 and 4 feet tall and is a perfect addition to container gardens. The colors range from green to light red or pink on each plant.
Lemon Lime – This vibrant green nandina puts out lime green leaves when new and young. Grows to be between 3 and 4 feet tall and wide.
Gulf Stream – This low-growing variety of Nandina is perfect along a walkway. Practically fruitless.
Fire Power – A small evergreen variety of Nandina that gets to about 2 feet tall.
