Enjoy selecting the perfect tree and then decorating it with your special family ornaments.
For an additional selection of fresh-cut trees this season, including beautiful flocked trees, Premier Nursery offers a wide selection of wonderful trees for your holiday decorating. 1. Nothing Compares to the Fragrance of a Real Christmas Tree
There is nothing like the natural aroma of a real Christmas tree, the scent of fresh pine or fir filling the air. The smell of real Christmas trees immediately brings you into the Christmas spirit and fulfills all of your holiday expectations.
While artificial Christmas trees do look real, they cannot smell real! Many families have wonderful memories of cutting down a tree at a lot and then hauling it home. The smell of a fresh cut tree is so wonderful and immediately brings to mind so many wonderful holiday memories of family, friends and chocolate chip cookies!
The smell of a real Christmas tree fills the air and brings back wonderful memories for many families. Premier Nursery considers this scent to be one of the biggest selling points of choosing a Real Christmas Tree.
2. Every Fresh-Cut Christmas Tree Is Unique
Unlike the identical-looking artificial Christmas trees on the store shelves, each Real Christmas Tree is a unique plant with its own natural growth and form. Some trees are full and symmetrical, while others are more open in form and more characteristic of a traditional Christmas Tree.
Nothing compares to a real tree. The variations in trees mean there is a perfect tree for any home and decorating style. We have a variety of shapes and sizes and help find the perfect one for your needs.
3. Fresh-Cut Flocked Christmas Trees Offer a Beautiful Winter Look

A Flocked Christmas Tree is a fresh-cut real Christmas Tree that has been given a winter wonderland look. Their beautiful appearance can highlight Christmas trees and other decorations that are colored white, silver or gold.

A fresh-cut flocked Christmas tree is different from the typical fake flocked tree. A Premier Nursery fresh-cut flocked tree has the natural branches of a real Christmas tree covered with a decorative white flocking to give a tree with freshly fallen snow.
4. Real Christmas Trees Create Lasting Holiday Memories
Many family traditions take place around the decorating of a real Christmas tree. Choosing the perfect tree, cutting it down and bringing it home, placing it in the stand and decorating it with family and friends creates wonderful holiday memories year after year.
Children enjoy picking out the tree, and the adult in the family can enjoy the familiar holiday tradition of having a fresh cut Christmas tree in their home. Many families continue the tradition year after year.
5. Fresh-Cut Trees Are a Natural Holiday Choice
These trees are grown on Christmas tree farms, harvested, and then replanted. In addition to providing a sustainable holiday product, Christmas trees help to absorb carbon dioxide while they are growing and provide habitat for wildlife.
During the time that a tree is growing it makes atmospheric carbon dioxide available and provides wildlife habitat. After the holiday season many communities offer recycling programs for used Christmas trees to be ground into mulch for gardening or other uses.
As opposed to the artificial alternatives, which are comprised mostly of plastic and metal and are not able to be recycled, a naturally grown real Christmas tree provides a wonderful alternative to families who are interested in selecting a natural product for their holiday celebrations.
6. Keeping Your Tree Fresh for the Holidays
- A properly cut tree can last through the holiday season and be a beautiful addition to your home. Here are a few simple steps to keep your tree looking fresh.
- Secure a Stronger Tree Stand: Opt for a tree stand that holds water and can support your newly cut down tree. The water reservoir should hold sufficient amount of water to supply the tree’s needs until the next day.
- Checking the water level in the tree stand daily to make sure it is above the cuts on the bottom of the trunk.
- Avoid heat sources: This means do not place your tree near a fireplace, heat vent, space heater, radiator, or direct sunlight.
- Use proper lights: Check the lights before you use them to make sure they are rated for outdoor use and to make sure there are no tangles or pins that may cause problems.
Keeping your tree adequately watered is one of the most important steps in maintaining its appearance and preventing early drop of needles.
